Super Feelings: EP3- Thuy-Han Nguyen-Chi – into the earth below, the blue blur of bones

For the opening event of Episode 3 of super feelings, on 13th October 2022, the artist Thuy-Han Nguyen-Chi invites performer Frankie to give a concert at de Appel. This will take place at de Aula, activating the space and Episode 3 of super feelings: into the earth below, the blue blur of bones. Frankie will perform the soundtrack that she produced for the film Into The Violet Belly directed by Thuy-Han Nguyen Chi, and tracks from her debut solo release Styx.

Frankie (Franziska Aigner) works at the intersection of music, philosophy and performance. She studied at P.A.R.T.S., the school of choreography and dance in Brussels directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and has performed her own work at theatres and festivals across Europe. Frankie worked with the artist Anne Imhof on the performances Deal (2015), Rage (2015), and Angst (2017),  Nature Mortes (2021) as well as FAUST (2017), which was awarded the Golden Lion at the 2017 Venice Biennale. In 2019 she joined Holly Herndon’s vocal ensemble, performing the album ‘PROTO’ around the world. Frankie continues to work and perform with Anne Imhof and with artists such as the choreographer William Forsythe and the filmmaker Austin Jack Lynch.
