The Sonic Acts three-day sound art program, Inner Ear(th) will present “a wide range of concerts, sound transmissions, installations, workshops and field explorations. Resonating with the complex histories of Het HEM – the former munitions factory – the programme excavates the multiple ecologies intertwining the geographies of the inner ear and earth through the reverberations of spatial sound.” Scroll through the brimming line-up below.
After two long years Sonic Acts has returned to us in an expanded form, that of the biennale. From the 30th of September to the 23rd of October. This biennial will take place across different location; which include: W139, Zone2Source in Amstelpark, and HetHem in Zaandam; We are being given the opportunity to see how Sonic Acts “advances experimentation and provides a podium for dynamic perspectives, which can in turn be tools for discovery, growth, development, and emancipation.” This opportunity will come in the form of an Exhibition: one sun after another, a three-day Sound Art programme: Inner Ear(th) and a Symposium: Leaving Traces which all are accompanied by installations, workshops and artist presentations.
