With her second LP, the woozy and soothing On Your Own Love Again, out on Drag Records, Jessica Pratt comes across as an angelic nymph, a tender and gentle soul, occasionally singing about praying for the rain. Boy, we’re White Fence’s Tim Presley still grateful for releasing her first self-titled LP, that already kept us company during so many nights.
Once you heard the beautiful homespun lo-fi folk songs with layered harmonies, it’s impossible to imagine a world without them. Yep, it’s in this sensitive cocoon of warm chords and poetical lyrics we want to live.
