Although a fresh breeze full of sweetness is already sweeping through the air, spring hasn’t arrived in full force yet. Thankfully, there is Ryley Walker, whose beautiful, dreamy songs lead to a paradise for away from this cold world. Both a great guitar player and singer, Walker creates mesmerising songs often based on improvisations with his band. His new album, Primrose Green, is a real musical treat on account of Riley’s exquisite guitar picking and the excellent musicians that back him. Support is provided by Daniel Bachman, another lovely folky guitar picker, with a very different sound.
