After the wonderful first part, the second part of this exhibition explores how contemporary artists deal with found footage images. Whereas found footage actually is the use of footage as a found object, this practice has been largely exploited by video artists. Partly in relation to cinema history, the notion of storytelling and our society, the exhibition presents a kaleidoscope of images and sequences that belong to our collective memory, but at the same time force the spectator to question social stereotypes, cinematic norms and models.
