Gaudeamus 2025

Gaudeamus takes over Utrecht from 10 to 14 September 2025 with more than 45 concerts, interdisciplinary performances, workshops and lectures.

Gaudeamus is celebrating their 80th anniversary this year. Since 1945, the festival has introduced curious music lovers to the composed music of tomorrow: unheard of combinations of genres, fresh perspectives on concert practices and radical new inventions in the field of sound and stage art, without borders or limitations.

The 2025 festival edition features forward thinking musicians like Chuquimamani-Condori, Eli Keszler, Jaz Lancaster and the duo Ego Death formed by Aho Ssan & Resina. Moreover, you can experience many brand new projects by Zeno van den Broek & HIIIT & Percussions de Strasbourg, Thomas Azier,  the Cello Octet Amsterdam, Het Muziek (formerly Asko|Schönberg) and Silbersee performing Berio and Karmit Fadel, and much more.

Gaudeamus has kindly given limited number of free spots for Subbacultcha members for Wednesday 10 September and Saturday 14 September.
