Braids

Our love for Braids runs deep. So deep that when we first caught wind of the Montreal trio’s third full-length, the recently released Deep in the Iris which is out via Arbutus Records, we feverishly and unrelentingly hounded their agents to try and lineup another Amsterdam show. With that gig just a few hours away, we were pleasantly surprised by former contributing photographer and fellow Braids lover Nick Helderman, who, it just so happens, met up with the gang in Montreal while they were rehearsing for their European tour in the spring. Now we’re in the same excited state again, waiting barely containing our excitement for the Braids tour kickoff in Utrecht next week.
