Lennard Kok

Our featured artist of the month August is Utrecht illustrator Lennard Kok who you might remember from last year’s Wrapping Paper Project.

This summer we asked him to create a new design for our classic totebag. He drew inspiration from the unfortunate story of Sisyphus, who was hopelessly devoted to rolling a boulder up a hill, only to watch it come down again and again.

With the poster and the membership cards, like a lot of Kok’s drawings, the simple and clean lines are limited to only two panels for some highly compelling storytelling.
