Rat Column – Fooling Around

Reverting to ‘Fooling Around’, co-written with Michael Young for last year’s Leaf album, David West alias Rat Columns released an extended form of the track. The uncut version features the group’s main pillars Jonathan Young (bass) and Matthew Bleyle (drums) with Michael Young and Rusty Miller appearing on synth and backing vocals.  Almost a saddening sound track to footage of killing time in San Francisco is delivered by West’s soft vocals over synths and jaded guitar. The four-track Fooling Around EP is out on 31 July on the Berlin-based Blackest Ever Black label. Killing time
