Film: Donnie Darko

1988 was generally a good year, but for Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal), teenage life in the suburbs of Viriginia is deeply troubled. Paranoia, hallucinations and visions of doomsday plus the ongoing visits from Frank, a dreadful imaginary figure, shadow Donnie’s reality. If you haven’t already seen this film a bunch of times, it’s about time you add this jewel to your chest of silver screen treasures.
