Tales of the Future: Forbidden Planet (1956)

Eye on Sound has created Tales of the Future, a program centring on the influence of the synthesiser on sound design and composition in film. This science fiction classic is the first film with a completely electronic film score. Avant-garde, unworldly sounds accompany the story of a spacecraft crew stranded on a mysterious planet in a distant galaxy.
