MMF Festivalcafé w/ Aho Ssan

Over the course of five days, Muziekgebouw and BIMHUIS will be dedicated to minimal music in its broadest sense: from pioneers Steve Reich and Philip Glass to today’s makers. As such, Minimal Music Festival 2023 celebrates the power of repetition. Repetition that never stays the same, that changes itself and brings about change. Hope illuminated in dark times.

We’ve got the chance to invite two artists we love for a special performance on the Foyerdeck. On the late Friday evening: the post-industrial electroacoustic collages of Aho Ssan. The musician and sound artist has a background in graphic design and cinema, but made his breakthrough in 2015 with his innovative and award-winning soundtrack for the film Ingha Mago.
