Film: Nocturnal Animals

After ‘A Single Man’ in 2009, fashion designer, turned film director, Tom Ford is back with a double shot of horror and despair in ‘Nocturnal Animals’. Based on the 1993 novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright, the movie unravels the story of Susan (Amy Adams), who’s astonished to receive a manuscript of an unpublished novel from her first husband, Tony (Jake Gyllenhaal), having broken his heart twice over. A violent, sad story follows, reminding her of a dark secret of the past. Where’s the line between fiction and reality?
