Our intern Hannah got stranded in an airport for 17 hours. Here's a playlist about it.
We are giving away 5 pairs of tickets for the Robot Love Expo which explores the theme of a bond between humans and robots. Workshops, lectures, a great display of contemporary art and design by over 60 international artists is what awaits for those who attend.
Our members have the chance to win 5 x 2 tickets to Subbacultcha members to the Robot Love Expo running until 2 December in Eindhoven. All you have to do is shoot us a mail at firstname.lastname@example.org before 8 November with ‘Robot Love’ in the subject line, and your full name in the mail. First sent first served!
To get you in the right mood, our beloved art director Lin cherry-picked 4 highlights from the exhibition, for you to gaze at.
THE KITTY AI: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR GOVERNANCE, VIDEO
by Pinar Yoldas
Visually sweet like candy cane. The video is appealing in a strange ways. If you listen carefully, you’ll hear the kitten potraying a very estranging view of the world. It’s a world wherein Artificial Intelligence seems to reign. The kitten makes it seem as if this is Utopia, but in reality it’s just fucking creepy.
This space caught my eye immediately. It looks like a dystopian world in 3D, but in reality it was a mere constellation of prints place in a space. The whole thing felt like as if you entered a strange, dystopian womb.

Simply mesmerising. Nice and slick. It’s as if a box full of Ken doll’s is emptied on screen.
