Coded Matter(s): Terra Fiction

10 x 1 Ticket
27 September
De Brakke Grond

Terra Fiction is the second installment of FIBER’s ongoing Coded Matter(s): Worldbuilding project. Together with De Brakke Grond, they invite speakers questioning contemporary world visions and technological narratives, which are contributing to a greater socio-economic inequality and environmental destruction.

The concept of terraformation – the process of deliberately modifying a planets environment to make it habitable by Earth-like life – was once only touched by writers and artists. Well, those times are over. As we’re getting closer and closer to a threshold of environmental collapse, big tech companies (we see you Elon Musk) are in the front seat of colonizing and terraforming distant planets in the universe. A often forgotten question however: what and who do we leave behind on earth?

We’re giving our members the chance to win 10 tickets for Coded Matter(s): Terra Fiction, in De Brakke Grond. All you have to do is shoot us a mail at mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl before 25 September with ‘Terra Fiction’ in the subject line, plus your full name in the mail.
