Interdisciplinary and materially diverse, British artist Theo Simpson’s work blurs the line between past and present, economy and culture. Currently, Foam host his exhibition titled Part and Whole, which is a visual puzzle that draws from 19th century industrialization, contemporary tech-optimism, and a playful mix of ideology and myth. What seemed like a long-gone epoch of the factory and the archive is brought back into the spotlight through a conversation between materials, languages of art and economy, and the ever-present struggle of time as linear passage of events.

Part and Whole will be open to the public until April 1st, 2018, so make sure to schedule a visit in the following weeks.
