Sunflower Bean + Goodnight Moonlight

New York’s independent scene seldom, might even go as far as to say never, fails to sneak up on us and reveal something wonderful, like Sunflower Bean. Composed of Jacob Faber, Julia Cumming and Nick Kivlen, the Brooklyn trio snuck up onto the scene and was soon after opening for DIIV and The Vaccines on tour. More than simply the modestly self described ‘night music’, their sound sways from poppy shoegaze to psychedelic pleasures. Supporting the night will be Rotterdam’s janglepopping Goodnight Moonlight, which has gently evolved from the solo project of Jasper Boogaard into a band.
