Icelandic rap collective Reykjavíkurdætur are a 16-headed crew of fearless ladies whose lyrics are charged with politics and feminism, among other crucial topics in need of attention. You never know what you’re gonna get with these ‘Daughters of Iceland’, one minute they’re performing all together, the next they’ve split up into twos or threes, followed by a solo piece. What you can expect is the turn-up of an all-around, fierce but functional sisterhood.
