Merchandise + EZTV

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Merchandise ever since their debut (Strange Songs) In the Dark appeared via Drugged Conscience in 2010. We’ve always been fond of the bustling scene of Tampa, Florida; over the years, our affection toward this specific post-punk outfit the has been steadily growing. Needless to say, the recent releases of ‘Flower of Sex’, ‘End of the Week’, and a promise of an upcoming release on 4AD this September has consumed our minds and sucked us straight back in to the wicked world of Merchandise. Brooklyn trio EZTV carry the spirit of late 70s & 80s bands, but that’s not to say they don’t turn it into a sound of their own. The trio’s third record comes out at the end of this month on Captured Tracks.
