We've put Party into the Local Network Area
Following self-released tapes and releases on various labels, Olympia-bred duo Dylan Sharp and Carrie Keith packed up, moved to Los Angeles and signed on to Paradise of Bachelors. Whether it be the breezy L.A. impact or not, the fourth LP Dream All Over released in October is yet another masterpiece, leaning to a more wispy sound: the album absorbs unhurried dusky rock and drowsy folk, tied together with just the right amount of jangle. Once familiar with the duo, there’s no mistaking the definitive sound that is so deep-rooted in Gun Outfit’s good-time rock ‘n’ roll. The discography of Henry Barnes over the last two decades is impressive, to say the least, and he is widely known in the experimental music scene. Known as the member of noise-crust band Man is the Bastard and for Bastard Noise, Henry Barnes’ current California-based project Amps for Christ will support the night at De Nieuwe Anita.
