Film: A Most Wanted Man

Starring Philip Seymor Hoffman in the last of his films during his lifetime, A Most Wanted Man is a 2014 film directed by Anton Corbijn. The film is based on John le Carré’s novel of the same title, a tale of analytical intrigue, competition, love, and politics.

When a half-Chechen, half-Russian shows up  in the Islamic community of Hamburg, brutally tortured and laying claim to his father’s fortune, both German and US security agencies become closely interested. As time becomes increasingly crucial and the stakes rise, the aim to uncover the most wanted man’s identity becomes a race.
