Eyeshadow: A Fugitive + Requiem for a Dream

Music and movies are often interwoven. Eyeshadow in Amsterdam’s iconic Eye Filmmuseum shows this in a series dedicated to both film and music; a modern day classic followed by a performance.

It would be an understatement to say that this edition of Eyeshadow will be tremendously memorable. Because those of you who have already seen Requiem for a Dream know exactly how addictive this raw psycho-drama by Aronofsky is. For those of you who haven’t yet, well, where the hell have you been? Save the date and go get your gut wrenched (in the best way possible!) through grueling visuals and soundtrack. The night would not be complete without A Fugitive’s darkly virtuous trip-hop, however. The Dutch neo-R&B princess’s tunes compliment the film’s essence but will transport you to its own contemplative universe. Grab a drink and let her do her magic.
