Opening: Michelangelo Antonioni – Il maestro del cinema moderno

For the second time running, we’re teaming up with Team EXPOSED over at EYE, Amsterdam to curate the musical accompaniment of their new exhibition opening. On the 11th of September, EYE opens its doors and our eyes to the work of Italian legend Michelangelo Antonioni, responsible for cinema hallmarks like L’Avventura (1961), La Notte (1961) and L’Eclisse (1962), as well as sixties cult-film Blow-Up (1966). To mark the occasion, we’ve invited a few local talents with a particular affinity for that swinging decade. Formerly of Jacco Gardner and Lola Kite, Keez Groenteman leads the charge with his new formation Year, while Nijmegen dream pop quartet Mountain States follow suit with their infectious jangle. Weaving the whole endeavour together is Subba-favourite DJ JUJU.
