Air Waves + Suzewind

The dream pop of Air Waves aka Nicole Schneit was once described by friend and former collaborator Dan Deacon as something akin to “a favorite blanket wrapped around you.” The original plan of recording Parting Glances (September 2015 / Western Vinyl) as cheaply as possible deflected when Schneit, unhappy with the results, rerecorded the entire album with the help of Jarvis Taveniere of Woods. The resulting effort is a tightly refined elegy to modern interaction, still retaining the warmth of her earlier recordings. Supporting the night is Amsterdam-based psychedelic softpop newcomer Suzewind.
