HF Young Academy #1: The Man and The Machine

With just over a month to go before Holland Festival’s annual citywide spectacle of performing arts, the crew at HF Young have put together a series of festival teasers at the iconic Felix Meritis. Aimed at developing a context for upcoming festival events, Academy #1: The Man and the Machine explores the role of the human body in various performing arts disciplines, be it theatre, dance or otherwise. The evening features talks by Het Veem Theater Artistic Director Anne Breure and Jesse Vanhoeck, a dramatist and choreographer at ICKamsterdam, and will be hosted by Lucas De Man of Stichting Nieuwe Helden.

Rounding out the night, there’ll be music, drinks, Marsha Ru’s edible ceramics, and a PUPMag photography exhibition to boot.
