Online Editorial Intern

We’re looking for an aspiring writer with a passion for new music, art and film, as well as a familiarity with the artists we cover, excellent research skills, and experience with web and social media to boost our Online Editorial Team.

As our Online Editorial Intern, you’ll be assisting in all aspects of the site’s editorial process. More specifically, you’ll be tasked with discovering and covering exciting new music, art and film, and keeping our site up-to-date and flush with relevant content. You’ll also assist in promoting of all of our events, managing our communications channels and social media presence.

The Editorial Internship is a part-time position for a period of at least 3 months. Editorial interns are required to work 3 full days per week. Editorial Interns should also have access to a laptop and a smartphone.

Requirements:

– Availability from July until the end of September
– Media- and/or communications-related BA or MA.
– Fluency  and proficient writing skills in English.
– Your own laptop and smartphone.
– Experience in writing and social media skills

The writing sample should be a paragraph about a band of your choice, not unlike the writeups in the Subbacultcha website.
