Murakami Weekend lands in SS Rotterdam, bringing with the world of the Japanese writer as well as programming connected to his oeuvre. Author of Norwegian Wood, A Wild Sheep Chase, and IQ84 (among others), Murakami has been a regular bestseller in Japan as well as internationally, with works translated into more than 40 languages around the world. Murakami’s works explore genres of fiction, surrealism, science fiction and magical realism, to name a few, and his works are known for recurring themes of melancholy and alienation.
