We’re looking for an aspiring writer with a passion for new music, as well as a familiarity with the artists we cover, excellent research skills, and experience with web and social media to boost our Online Editorial Team.
As our Online Editorial Intern, you’ll be assisting in all aspects of the site’s editorial process. More specifically, you’ll be tasked with discovering & covering exciting new music and keeping our site up-to-date and flush with relevant content. You’ll also assist in promoting of all of our events, managing our communications channels and social media presence, and helping out with the magazine when it comes time to go to print.
We’re looking for an aspiring communications genie with a passion for music, who can channel the Subbacultcha voice and represent us in our interactions with members, volunteers, distributors, venues and collaborators. You’ll also be having a large part in internal communication.
As a communications Intern, you should have a good grasp on what Subbacultcha is, be outgoing and know what’s happening in Amsterdam. You’ll be involved in day-to-day tasks regarding the members’ system and communications so you’ll get to learn your way around an office. You’ll also have the chance to shine your research skills, introducing your own promotional strategy or project.

Subbacultcha is also looking for a Booking and Production Intern. Think you have a good handle on what Subbacultcha is all about and the acts we can’t be missing? Want to be involved in bookings and handling overall production at shows? We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, ultra-organized and knows their stuff when it comes to new music. As a Booking and Production Intern you will be involved with shows, shows and more shows.
Responsibilities include assisting with bookings, helping out at shows, day-to-day office tasks and being on top of local and international music scenes. We’re looking for someone who is already knee-deep in new music and knows how to keep an eye on interesting artists. Preferably someone well-acquainted with electronic music and somebody with technical knowledge.
