If Huerco S.’s For Those Of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have) was a flawless unveiling of ambient fragility, then the thirty-one minutes of extended ambience in QTT4 is a most serene, nonbelligerent switch to a half an hour escape in tranquility.

The fourth edition of the Quiet Time series dropped in from the Brooklyn-based producer at the start of this month. If they weren’t sold out, we’d urge you to get your hands on one them mustard colored tapes. Instead, we urge you to tune in while tuning out (you’ll understand once you listen) and to join us at Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ on Saturday, 19 November, where Huerco S. will be taking on The Rest Is Noise.
