Alex Cameron – Mongrel

The combination of a fantastic, bordering awkward dance performance, 80s synths and a warm, deep voice never cease to please. Beside all that, add a saxophone player and you’re looking at a treasure. If you were at the show in July, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. Alex Cameron’s latest clip takes place on a sidelined site in Constanta, Romania, just before sunset. The rest he fills with his own elegantly stiff dance moves and two ice cold-looking chicks in the background. And it works: his looks are reminiscent of an updated version of Bowie’s Thin White Duke. We hereby confess our love, once more, for Al Cam & Roy Molloy and strongly advise you to stay tuned as the pair may or may not be coming back in the near future…
