Merchandise – End of the Week

A Corpse Wired For Sound is the upcoming album from Merchandise – the first that’s been recorded in a studio. In the build up to it’s September release date (4AD), the band have shared the new video from it’s second release ‘End Of The Week’. The pace is sludgy and slow, drawn out threads of emotions coming from a particularly styled out band. The video – directed by Carson Cox – holds their Tampa DIY-punk traits tightly by the hand and reflects them defiantly into mirrors, through smoke and shadows.
