In 2013 we teamed up with Urban Outfitters for the launch of their first store location in the Netherlands, which kindled an eternal friendship. Now, a couple of years later, the UO terrain is expanding with a brand new store in Rotterdam. As good friends and devotees to music and art, we’re more than happy to commit ourselves to the musical programming in honor of the grand opening. The joyous occasion is set for the 3rd of September on the Lijnbaan in Rotterdam. During the opening hours of 17.00 to 21.00, the event will be soundtracked by Rotterdam’s post-punk Rats on Rafts with a DJ-set, accompanied by L.A.-based but Amsterdam-sprung house craftsman Palmbomen (also DJ-set). Drinks for the inauguration bash will be provided by Warsteiner and Sipsmith Gin to make sure everybody’s mood is nice and festive. As if that’s not enough indulgence, we’re also giving away Urban Outfitters gift certificates worth €50.
