Blanck Mass – Detritus

Whether the first track out of Dumb Flesh (out via Sacred Bones Records on 12 May) ‘Dead Format’ was probably taken as the softest Benjamin John Power has released so far (you could even dance to it!), ‘Detritus’ removes any expectations that the British noise virtuoso will water down his sound. Actually, the first half of this song could be probably the noisiest we have heard in a while. Luckily enough for those of you who doesn’t enjoy standing under a rain of nails, the second half shows more of a moody synth progression.
