It doesn’t happen often that a singer has a voice that is both comical and deeply touching. It makes for a weird sensation, not knowing wether to laugh or cry, or both. DINNER’s music proves that there can be silliness and humor in beauty, and vice versa. All in all, this man is like when Ariel Pink and John Maus are cross-bred and the resulting child is raised in a circus by clinically depressed clowns. Does this make any sense? No? Well, neither does this music, but – damn, that Fisherman’s Friend is strong, just a moment. *Sob*
