The Garden

13 March

There’s a lot to be said for brevity, but 16 songs in little under 19 minutes is pushing it, even by punk’s standard. Then again, identical twins Fletcher and Wyatt Shears cram so much energy into their songs, you wonder if they’d burst if they were any longer. And don’t let the fact that they’ve modelled for Saint Laurent put you off either; there’s plenty of aggression and smarts in their whirlwind, bass’n’drums take on post-punk. Short, but very, very sweet.
