As part of the Holland Festival, the HF Young Academy are organising the second of two events to prepare viewers for their festival performances. Designed to give you a rudimentary artistic and critical skillset, this second lecture looks to discuss ‘The Eye of the Beholder’, thinking of ways we perceive art and music, in cognitive psychological and musicological terms. The idea being, when you turn up to HF’s shows later on – or any other shows for that matter – you can brag learnèd interpretations to all your less-educated peers. Wonderful!
