EVAN CAMINITI - RIDEAUX DE NUIT FT. JEFRE CANTU-LEDESMA

On August 9th Thrill Jockey released the 5th solo album Dreamless Sleap of Evan Caminiti, one half of guitar duo Barn Owl, featuring drone music made solely with guitar. Although the album is definitely worth a listen, the bonus track, which was released a couple of days back, blew us away. This 10 min. drone piece is a collab with Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, founder of the San Fansisco based Root Strata label, and thus features two of the West-Coast greatest experimentalists on one track, and it shows.
